A recent article at Natural News nailed it. It says, “We’re being bombarded with wall-to-wall news coverage and news cycles that change every few days. — It’s difficult to stay focused on one thing—namely, holding the government accountable to abiding by the rule of law.”
The very next day after that article came out, Senator Mike Lee had FBI Director Christopher Wray testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Listen how Senator Mike Lee slammed FBI Director Wray on the FBI being untrustworthy:
Senator Mike Lee (R-UT):
“I’ve been on this committee for 13 years. During the entirety of those 13 years I’ve expressed concerns to FBI directors appointed by both political parties and three Presidential administrations. Every darn one of them has told me the same thing:
‘Don’t worry about it. We’ve got this taken care of. We’ve got new procedures – it’s going to be different now.’
It’s NEVER different. You haven’t changed.
And you keep referring to these policies – these new procedures. We haven’t seen that. We’re not even allowed to have access to it. We have absolutely no reason to trust you.”
When Government agencies have one set of standards for you and a different set for themselves, it smells a lot like a police state.
