NFL Players' Union Urged to Take Vaccine Injuries Seriously

The National Football League Players’ Association has been urged by Health Freedom Defense Fund to turn its attention to a new health concern that could have implications for NFL players’ long-term health and safety: Vaccine injury. The call comes in the wake of multiple tragic events, such as Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrests and the heart attacks and strokes of former NFL players s Uche Nwaneri, Chris Baker, and Jessie Lemonier.  A growing body of scientific literature suggests that COVID-19 vaccines are a contributing factor.

In a 4-page letter to the NFLPA, Health Freedom Defense Fund founder Leslie Manookian stated,

“We are requesting that NFLPA commence a testing and screening program to determine whether players have been adversely affected by the injections and to develop a set of functional medical protocols and treatments in order to address and heal any deleterious effects of the vaccines.”

In recent years, the NFLPA has implemented forward-thinking concussion protocols reviewed annually to reflect the most up-to-date medical consensus. Similarly, the implications of COVID-19 vaccines on player health cannot be ignored. Health Freedom Defense Fund has urged the union to take a more proactive approach to address this emerging health concern and take swift action to address player health and safety both on and off the field.
